'We can win people's heart through their stomach'.
Proving this true, our students of grade 3 won the hearts of their teachers and peers by showcasing the culinary delicacies of different states of India such as Punjab, Kerala, Rajasthan, Gujrat and Kashmir.
From the savory and mouth watering lassi and chole bhature from Punjab, dosa and coconut water from Kerala, khandavi and dhokla from Gujarat, daal baati churma from Rajasthan, kahwa and dum aaloo from Kashmir; the food fair had an impressive array of delicacies. Our young learners of Prudence School, Ashok Vihar showcased their understanding of regional food by displaying food from different states of India along with the reading cards and menu cards.
The little ones enthralled everyone by donning their chef caps and regional costumes. They welcomed everyone in the traditional manner, which further added to the mesmerising ambience. Truly, it was the energy and vigour of the children that made the food fair an experience worth sharing.
